Under Construction

We are all Under Construction (Especially Me!)

Last month I shared with you some exciting news that is going on in my life and business. After nineteen years of selling real estate, we are making some major changes… changes that will benefit you, my client. A large portion of this influence is due to the CORE coaching program which I spoke about in the last letter. But first…

I’m sorry.

I feel I need to apologize for not keeping in closer contact with you. I enjoyed working with you in solving your real estate needs, and the relationship we developed while we were working together is important to me. So I hope you will forgive me for not keeping in closer contact with you.

What’s happening… a change from Transactional to Relationship

I spent a great deal of time looking at my values, and in doing so I moved several values higher on my priority list - values like health, as I mentioned in the last letter. During this process of evaluation, I discovered I was far too transactional with everything I did in life and business. In the past I focused on the transaction of life, seeing only one objective and, in turn, losing sight of the big picture. Today, my new focus is to always think long-term, always do more than is asked of me, and to always be generous and grateful in my approach to both life and business.

From now on, in addition to those values, I want to create and maintain healthy, long-term relationships with people like you. Think about it – you have professionals in every area of your life that provide you with good services on a long-term basis; people like your financial advisor, accountant, lawyer, doctor or trusted mechanic. Why do so many people look at selling or buying a home as such a short-term relationship? When you consider that for most people, buying or selling a home is a big event, so why do they settle for a real estate agent they don’t know and trust?

In my nineteen-year career, I’ve seen too many people end up with less than desirable results when selling or buying a home. I would never want this to happen to you or to anyone you know. I want you to think of me as your “Real Estate Consultant for Life.” I promise that I will be there for you, your family, your friends, and your associates by offering you more than any other real estate professional will. THIS IS MY PLEDGE. I’m looking forward to renewing our relationship.

Sincerely,

Jay Fletch
